I absolutely LOVE being a college student mentor! Over the past few years, I have mentored 5 students. Jessica, Zack, Megan, Molly and Tori. We have weekly calls about graphic design, portfolios, resume writing, making contacts in the industry and getting a job as a graphic designer.
Carthage College has been incredibly kind to me. As well as being a mentor, I was asked to speak in Professor Huaracha’s Senior Graphic Design class about packaging and making it as a self employed designer. Overjoyed!
4 women and myself started the Northwest Suburban Chicago Chapter of 100 Women Who Care. This is a collective giving organization that does good locally. I am proud to be a part of this and was thrilled to create the logo.

My customer gave me a duck. Yes it is true, Advanced Events was kind enough to write the loveliest card and generous enough to help those in need. To learn more about the organization they choose to support this holiday season please visit www.oxfamgifts.com
In 2015, I was voted #1 Graphic Designer by Thumbtack. Kind of cool. Much thanks to my customers who were kind enough to take the time to write a review. To see me on Thumbtack, please visit: www.thumbtack.com/il/chicago/designers/#
